“Sometime’s you have to take a step back to move forward.”

Wow, this book was can I say riveting!!! I couldn’t put it down.  The story of Jesika and Derek isn’t a fairy tale but definitely real life.  Sometime’s life hits you faster than you realize.  In the beginning of the book, Jesika’s husband dies.  After he dies, she falls into a funk. Wouldn’t anyone who is left with a son to raise and the love of your life no longer there?

Jesika’s best friend Mallory is all that is keeping her attached to real life.  Mallory is always there for Jesika and her son. 

Jesika meets Derek and wow do sparks fly.  She immediately feels a connection and then when she sees him again later on, the sparks are still there.  Derek is a firefighter by day and a Rocker by night (How hot!!)

To make something work between the two of them, they will have to face their past and present to move on.  Both of them are single parents that want each other.  This story took some twists and turns that I never expected. 

Read the story and enjoy it as much as I did.  I hope that you will be patiently waiting for No Going Back which is the second in this series.  I can’t wait to see what happens to Mallory and Seth! I know it’s gonna be steamy and a roller coaster ride at that.
